ACTS ATX

To support the lives of those who are at a disadvantage, regardless or race, origin, age through giving and service based actions/programs.

What is ACTS?

ACTS ATX is an Austin-based organization (seeking non-profit 501c3) status formed by two UT graduates for the sole purpose of bringing communities closer together. Acts ATX focuses on Acts of Service that benefit the immediate low income community, such as: Volunteering, Clothes and Kindness, Project Educate and Counseling*

*Due to Covid, our programs are only offered via virtual sessions only.

Volunteering

Connecting individuals and building social networks through volunteering in the Austin community.If you would like to sign up as a Volunteer Leader, please click here. Project Donation

Collecting lightly-worn clothing, school supplies from willing donors and businesses, refurbishing them and sending them to families in need. Click here to donate.

Project Educate

Provide education to children in need via customized tutoring sessions (ESL, Math, Korean, Computer Programming, Research and Writing). We offer free tutoring services for, families who qualify for SNAP/Food Stamps. Click here for more info and course registeration.

Counseling

Connecting individuals seeking academic counseling and counseling for mental health needs and financial counseling. Click here to sign for counsling.

With expertise in Non-Profit Education Institution, William has worked for University of Texas and has teaching experience in elementary level education to high school education. William believes in serving the community and has strong values in education, instilled in him from his parents and his home church.

About Jeremy

Specializing in Non-Profit Development, Jeremy has worked for organizations like HealthStart, a children’s health education initiative, and The Salvation Army. Jeremy desires to give back to the communities in which he was raised in order to make the greater Austin community a better place for the disadvantaged.
